Today at the RNIB, Redhill

Today we were at Redhill RNIB, as the Bridge is still having work done on it. Brandon who normally takes drama was not there today. The morning was taken by our music tutor Andrea we sang several songs including Streets of London in which I sang a verse. We also did other musical items. We were joined later by a visitor Lyn. In the afternoon Karen was session leader. I started off the afternoon with Viv who measured me up for a Military costume for the Messages of Love and Hate. In the session we started off by interviewing one another for a special project later in the year. After that we played a game called Guess Who where one of the group thought about another member and the rest of us had to guess who it was. The person answering could only answer Yes or No. Finally Karen told us about a new project about a made-up Island that was Disabled friendly… but you could only live there if you were disabled yourself or were employed as a someone to help those living there. We had some visitors this afternoon – Jo who lives there and was in the PIAW Carnival show just before Easter. The other visitor was Jan who also lives at the Centre. I enjoyed today’s session.
