24 May Love and Hate, and Trust
Today in drama we started by with Brandon telling us about a show he saw during the week about as part of the Brighton festival it was set in a war by an Israeli author. Brandon said it a loads of spectacular scenes in it. We then filmed a scene from Messages of Love and Hate about Ben, played by Vince. Ben is an abusive man who is trying to get into his girlfriend’s flat by talking through the entrance phone at the front. He first of all threatens to beat Carol his girlfriend up if she does not let him in he then changes his mind and talks nicely to Carol.
After lunch we rehearsed a scene were Carol builds a barrier out of chairs and other objects to keep Ben out. Vince helped out in this scene.
Finally we saw four different versions of the Trust dance at the same time. One at Leatherhead Theatre, Two in Brighton at the Beach and the Pier the last one being at a Bluebell Wood near the theatre. It was really good to see all the scenes at the same time.
Tomorrow I will go to drama at the Bridge were I with the help of Brandon go through Harry’s scene in Messages of Love and Hate and continue to read the Why am I here? story.
