15 Oct Visiting Parliament, theatre and factory unit!
On Wednesday, Viv and Bob went to the Houses of Parliament for a Dinner for the Orpheus Trust hosted by Lord Hunt. It was a great evening with music, song and laughter, and a wonderful opportunity to meet people from other disability organisations. Thank you Orpheus!
Brandon and Viv visited the Rose Theatre in Kingston today to see if it would be a good place for us to perform. It’s a beautiful theatre, but will only sit 10 wheelchairs. The stage itself is fine for us. Karen from the Stage Management Team will make investigations as to whether it is possible to extend the number of spaces for wheelchairs.
Brandon then visited a factory unit found for us in Dorking by Mole Valley to see if it would make a good studio space. Too many columns – but on the right lines. We will go on looking.
