08 Nov Today at the Bridge
Today Drama was at the Bridge as usual. We started in the morning with a Warm Up we then welcomed our visitors Sarah Danes, Ella Findloy and Matt Soaby all from White Lodge in Chertsey Surrey. After that we rehearsed the scene from Messages of Love and Hate with Ben trying to break into Carols flat by talking to her through her flat entry phone. Carol doesn’t want to let him in as he is violent to her so she makes a barrier using Chairs, Tables and Bedside Lamps. We then had some lunch.
In the afternoon Viv started by confirming details about tomorrow’s drip to see Reasons to be Cheerful at the Theatre Royal Stratford East. we then continued do various scenes from Messages of Love and Hate that we will go through on Friday at the Nomad Theatre. We started with the Ghosts bursting through the latex screen into the outside world we then moved onto the Political Cabinet scene during a war. All of these scenes were organised by Sue, Andrea, Brandon and Jamie. I enjoyed today’s session.
