19 Nov Lots going on!
Today in drama we had no visitors; those not there were Wendy and Anthony O’Sullivan.
We started with Viv going through the Freewheelers diary. The first event she mentioned was the Youth Workshops starting on January 7th next year, in the evenings, at The Bridge between 7-9pm.
Then Your Call at Bracknell on February 5th next year. Apparently, the venue we were due to perform the same play a week later, on February 12th, now charge a lot of money to perform in; we may either find another venue, or film it. It was later decided not to go to Brighton after all. We will film Your Call and Steep Rain after June 7th?
We then talked about the Play in a Week at Leatherhead Theatre, the week of Feb 18th. Next was Your Call at Leatherhead Theatre, during the Drama Festival from April 22nd; we will perform the weekend after, on April 26th and 27th. Pip said we have a performance on June 17th – I do not know the venue for this event yet.
Eddie showed us all a picture of our logo on his computer; we all liked it. Some of the group (Vince, Stephen and Pip) went through their Outcome Stars with Viv during today’s session.
Luke T said he may have an operation in the future, so might not be able to do everything he normally does. We then had lunch, during which we listened to songs from the shows.
In the afternoon we had a Vocal Workshop run by Andrea, and finished off with Terri’s script. I enjoyed it today and I hope the rest did as well.
