17 Dec Christmas Session
Today in drama the visitors were Viv’s grandson and granddaughter, Ruben and Vide, and her husband Bob. Also Anita who writes our blogs, and Mark came again who did so a few weeks ago as a possible new member. Those not there were Anna, Anthony O’Sullivan and Soufyan, who are all on an activity week, Andrea, Jamie, and Luke H.
I gave out Christmas cards to various members, and wished Brandon ‘Happy Birthday’ for tomorrow as I will not see him.
We started with watching a film from the Film and Dance Evening at Epsom College in July. Next, we discussed it and how it went; we said there needed to be some improvements.
After that Brandon said we will be filming Your Call in April next year. We will also film the Trust Dance again, in locations like the London Eye, some woods when it is snowing, and an ice rink.
Then we had lunch, during which we listened to some Christmas music, and Bob came with Ruben and Vide; they looked round and said hello to everyone, although Ruben was rather shy.
In the afternoon, we read through my play Lord Upright and Grovling in pairs or threes. We finished with Brandon saying when we come come back on January 9th, there will be intensive rehearsals for Your Call, the performance at the South Barn, Bracknell on February 5th.
In conclusion I enjoyed today’s session, and all the others during the year, and I think the rest did as well.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
