07 Jan New Year activity
We had no visitors in drama today, and the only one not there was Luke H.
We started in the morning with talking about what we did over Christmas. Jamie was in a play with Graeae Theatre Company called Rhinestone Rollers, at a venue near the National Theatre in London. He said it went well. Soufyan went to Winter Wonderland near Hyde Park; he also went on an activity holiday near the New Forest with Anna, Anthony Ogle and Anthony O’Sullivan. They all enjoyed it.
Brandon hopes to get a new member to the group, perhaps from the Tuesday group as Wendy is now only coming on Tuesdays (except when we perform Your Call at Bracknell on Feb 5th, she will come for a few Mondays before this event).
Brandon talked to Sarah, a technical person, about Your Call at Bracknell, at the Drama festival in Leatherhead on April 24th and a show about Africa the day after.
Next, a full rehearsal of Your Call all the way through. Finally, before lunch, we sang Happy Birthday to Susan and gave her some flowers. Then was lunch, and during the break we had some of Susan’s birthday cake.
In the afternoon another full run through of Your Call.
We finished with looking at how it went and said we may all say Soufyan’s line on getting annoyed about being on hold for hours and hours. In conclusion, I enjoyed it today and I hope the others did as well.
