29 Jan Getting ready for Bracknell performance
Today we were back to drama after last week’s snow. We had two visitors this week: Susan (from Unum), and Andy, a possible new technical volunteer. The only one not there was Andrea.
We started with a warm up, taken by Brandon. Then Brandon introduced Susan and Andy to us. He then said we will be rehearsing Your Call for most of the day. We then had a full rehearsal of Your Call from beginning to end; then we had lunch, during which we listened to some songs from Reasons to be Cheerful.
In the afternoon, another Your Call rehearsal from start to finish. Brandon said this one was better than the one in the morning. He then told us of the arrangements for next Monday at the Bridge Youth Club, and Tuesday for the performance of Your Call at South Hill Park, Bracknell. Before the afternoon rehearsal, we talked about transport for Bracknell.
After the afternoon rehearsal Brandon asked if we could sell some tickets for the Bracknell performance; we said we would try and do so.
Liz the volunteer then asked if the members who had not given in their information forms they received two week ago should do so next week (I have given in mine).
We finished off by watching the second part of Much Ado About Nothing, that we started a fortnight ago.
In conclusion I enjoyed today’s session, and I hope the others did as well.
