Talking about Bracknell’s show

Dear All
This week in drama, our visitors were Dan Bolt (Drake Music) and Jim Pincher (Surrey Music); they did not appear till the afternoon. Those not there were Terry, who was was unwell, and Andrea.
We started in the morning with Brandon discussing how it went last week at Bracknell. We then watched a film on it, and said more on how it went: we said it was mostly good, but needed some improvements. Brandon then told us that the performance at Leatherhead in April will be filmed. Also Dan, who comes on Tuesday, joined the Monday class this week.
Next, Brandon said he had a discussion with our Audio Describer, Di, and perhaps our next show, after Your Call, could be on that subject. Then, he talked more on our visitors coming later this afternoon. After which volunteer Pip said she went to St John’s School, Leatherhead, and met a helpful teacher who said they could offer a performance venue and other facilities. Then we had lunch.
In the afternoon, the visitors Dan and Jim arrived; they were not sure what they wanted to do with us, so Viv took them away to find out.
Brandon was with the rest of us, along with Susan, and we went through my play Lord Upright and Grovling in pairs or threes. We also discussed who was involved in the Play in a Week, with young people, next week at Leatherhead Theatre. I am involved and we will probably do a Nomad Play in a Week from a previous year (to be confirmed).
In conclusion I enjoyed it today, and I hope the rest did as well.
