10 Jun Drama games
Today in drama our visitor was Nigel Holllins, a possible new member. Those not there were Jamie, Andrea and Brandon.
Susan took the session; we started by welcoming Nigel, after which he said his drama group did a show in which he was Robin Hood.
Next Sam, Sonas and Anna talked about their holiday to Chichester: they said they did loads of activities and enjoyed it. Then was a warm up, then we told a story with each person saying one word each, followed by a game in which you either said ‘Zip Zap’ or ‘Boing’. Then we split into groups of four and made up a story on a theme. My group was the beach, and we were a family; others were set on a plane or up a mountain, they were very funny.
Next was lunch, during which we talked about plans for Friday when there is a Freewheelers fundraising event at Fetcham Park, in which I and another member of the group are talking about our experiences since joining.
In the afternoon, Susan took a session on Lord Upright and Grovling, with Dan as Lord Upright, and Stephen as Grovling. Viv was with the rest who read poetry together; I joined Susan’s group, as I wrote the play.
We then all met together again.
In conclusion, I enjoyed it today and I think the rest did as well.
