Freewheeler news and more rehearsing

Dear All
Today in drama our visitor was Richard Wilson (not the actor); he is a possible new member. Those not there were Viv.
We started with Brandon, who was back from Connecticut in the United States; he told us that there had been a tropical storm there, which was named Andrea! He welcomed Richard to the group, and said who we were. Next, Brandon talked about the fundraising event at Fetcham Park last Friday. After which Luke H said that when he went to a music day at Leatherhead Leisure Centre on Friday, he saw Graham, one of Freewheelers musicians.
Brandon said that Rachel Barnett had a baby called Toby, who is unwell at the moment, and she hopes he will get better.
Brandon mentioned that in two weeks’ time Chris Crane and himself will be filming Steep Rain at the Spectrum Centre, Guildford, ready for the group to do it sometime in the future.
We then had a warm up, followed by a rehearsal of Steep Rain. Then we had lunch during which Pip said we raised around £6000 at the Fetcham Park House event, and possibly even more.
In the afternoon, we continued Steep Rain, and then Susan and Brandon took my play Lord Upright and Grovling, with Dan as Lord Upright and Stephen as Grovling; I was there too.
Vince watched Andrea who was with the rest doing drama games. I really enjoyed today’s session and I hope the rest did as well.
