A Mixed Up Fairy Tale

A Mixed Up Fairy Tale

Dear all
Here is a quick review of today’s Pantomime at The Bridge Youth Club, Leatherhead, in the afternoon.
We started by eating lunch. Then Brandon welcomed everyone and thanked all the volunteers for their help during the year, and also told them a bit about the show. It was called A Mixed Up Fairy Tale.  Brandon also talked about what we had done this year, like Your Call Is Important To Us, and Steep Rain, as well as Upright and Grovling.  Then on to some of the productions we will do in 2014, including a show about the anniversary of both World Wars; a dance about Nelson Mandela; something on the history of disability; the Youth Theatre starting up again, and more work on Upright and Grovling, plus others.
Then the pantomime itself: it had loads of characters, like Two Wicked Queens, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Snow White, Prince Charming, and Captain Hook, plus loads more, including Mark from Hemmet as Jaffa (I think from Peter Pan).  It was great fun and lots to laugh at and audience participation. I enjoyed it a lot and I hope and think everyone else did too.
Finally I helped put various items away after the show, like chairs and food, plus others.

In conclusion, I really enjoyed the whole experience and would go again next year if asked.
