08 Jun Developing Freewheelers
Here is the review of today’s drama. We did lots of stuff, so I may not mention everything but will try and include most of what we did do.
We had no visitors and those not there were Viv, Chris Crane, Mathew James, Ems and Dan.
We started with Brandon telling us he had problems with his roof over the weekend. Brandon then said Jenni had an email from our patron, John Kelly, asking for Freewheelers aged 16-25 for a play about being independent. Several members were interested.
Richard was in a show in London last week in which he sang some songs; he liked being in it. Liz and Luke Tye saw The Grange Has Got Talent last week – one of acts used mops and props, and he wondered if we could do something similar. Luke also suggested we could perform outside in the future.
James watched Alice in Wonderland near Waterloo Station and enjoyed it. Brandon thought we could perhaps see a Shakespeare play at The Globe Theatre sometime; we said we might.
I think we then rehearsed Cold and Wet: the ventriloquist scene to the Tomorrow dance scene. Then we had lunch.
In the afternoon we continued rehearsing Cold and Wet: from where we left off before lunch, to the murder scene.
In conclusion I think today went well and I hope the rest will think so too.
