Here is this week’s drama email. As we did quite a lot I may not mention everything but will try and include most of what we did do.
The visitors were Sheree Vickers, Ami McColgan and Alice Rayman who came in the morning for Stage Makeup Workshop and Mat Seaby who came in the afternoon to help with surtitles for Destiny Betrayed. Those not there were Luke Tye and Dan.
We started in the morning with a Stage Makeup Workshop with Sheree, Ami and Alice. We had different characters like zombies, pirates, Frankenstein’s monster and having a bullet wound. Then we had lunch.
In the afternoon we rehearsed Destiny Betrayed from start to finish with Mat Seaby helping out with surtitles. We then got together to talk about how it went; we said it went quite well.
Next Brandon asked who would be going to Leatherhead this Saturday, November 5th, to do some publicity for the performance of Destiny Betrayed at Leatherhead Theatre on Wednesday October 9th. Some members said ‘yes’.
Then Brandon mentioned two Freewheelers Workshops coming up this week. The first is for Destiny Betrayed, tomorrow, Tuesday November 1st, at QEF Leatherhead. The second is on Thursday November 3rd at SeeAbility also in Leatherhead – to do Disability and Destiny Betrayed. Several members said they would be attending them both.
Brandon then asked if we could try and sell tickets for Destiny Betrayed on November 9th at Leatherhead Theatre; we said we will do our best.
In conclusion, I think today’s session went well, and I hope the rest will agree!
