Here is the usual drama email for this week. We did a lot so I may not mention everything but will try and mention most items.
The only visitor was Matt Seaby who came to help with surtitles for Destiny Betrayed. Those not there were Ems and Dan.
We started in the morning with Brandon and others talking about a Freewheelers Workshop last Wednesday, at SeeAbility in Leatherhead. They talked about disability awareness, and Destiny Betrayed. Then they mentioned the Destiny Betrayed publicity in Leatherhead town centre on November 5th. Those who took part said they both went well.
Next we talked about tickets for Destiny Betrayed at Leatherhead Theatre this Wednesday, November 9th in the evening. We have sold about 200 tickets already including a coachload of people that my mum is bringing.
Pip then mentioned the after show party arrangements. I think we then mentioned the Q & A (or question and answer) after the show; we said it may now not happen at all; or be in the theatre bar afterwards; or on stage before the play begins.
I asked Brandon about inviting all the volunteers who have helped us during the run of Destiny Betrayed – he said some can come and some cannot; we all understood this. I think we then rehearsed Destiny Betrayed from the beginning to the end.
Then was lunch. During the break I helped Pip and Soufyan ask people at drama what food they wanted on the last Monday of Freewheelers before Christmas (December 12th) – sausage, fishcakes or fish (all with chips).
In the afternoon we rehearsed various scenes from Destiny Betrayed ready for Wednesday. I think today went well and I hope the rest will think so too.
