23 May Monologues And Other Stories
Here is this week’s drama blog. We did quite a lot so I may not mention everything; I will try and include most items we did do.
We had no visitors and those not there were Ems and Andrea.
We started with Brandon telling us there will be no session next week, as it is a Bank Holiday.
There will be one on June 5th, when Brandon and others will be performing the play they were in at the Brighton Festival last week – called New York Stories. His son Josh was also performing at the festival in a play about the life of Galileo.
On June 12th we are going to Dorincourt in Leatherhead to see some people on uni-cycles performing Shakespeare plays.
Dan saw actor Richard Wilson in a play, and Luke H watched a production of The Addams Family in London, starring Les Dennis as Uncle Fester. Luke H liked what he saw, but Dan was disappointed with what he saw.
I think we then read through the monologue by Jenny Mussell, in groups. I was with Terri, Soufyan and Luke T, and we were supervised by Chris Crane. Then was lunch.
In the afternoon we performed to each other and said what we thought of the performances – either positive or negative.
In conclusion I think today went well and I hope the rest will think so too.
