Nutty McNesse and his forthcoming travels to Dorking

Dear All,

Here is my drama entry for this week.

We had no visitors and those not there were Nick,  Luke Tye and Ashley.

We started in the morning with Brandon telling us all about going to KUONI Offices, in Dorking, on October 1st for the filming of the Tomorrow scene from Destiny Betrayed. Brandon said we need to dress quite smartly for this event; times 10am to 5pm.

We then talked about what scenes will be filmed on that day. Next, we got in ‘size order’: wheelchair users on one side, and ambulant (walker people) on the other. We then had a go singing the scene.  Then we had drama games with Peter Higson; next was lunch.

In the afternoon, we continued to work with Peter Higson. We had objects and then had to say what they were and tell a story about them. Mine was a sink plunger. I said it was oldest sink plunger in the world.

Next we got into groups to tell more stories with our objects. I was with Richard Watson, Richard Bridger and Naomi, and the story was about our group finding a bone at the seaside. I played a mad Professor called Nutty McNesse. He told the others it was the bone of The Loch Ness Monster, and then dropped it and broke it.

We then watched a film of the visit by puppeteer Nick Barnes, and said what we thought of it. We then had another go at rehearsing The Tomorrow Song scene from Destiny Betrayed, ready for KUONI on Sunday. Brandon showed a film of when Andrea, Chris Crane and himself visited the KUONI offices in Dorking ready for our visit there on Sunday.

I think today went well, and I think the rest will think so too.
