27 Feb Radio Scenes at The Bridge
Here is this week’s drama entry.
This week we had no visitors and those not there were Anna Vere, Zena, Terri, Soufyan and Richard Watson.
We started with Brandon telling us all the filming that was due to happen today at Brooklands Transport Museum in Weybridge – but did not! So due to that, the show may not be on March 19th. We then had a look at the storyboard for our next production.
Next, Brandon said there will a meeting at The Bridge Centre regarding our next production. It will be on March 12th at The Bridge Centre, for all those involved. Luke T then said he will not be there in the afternoon as he is going to the House of Lords with Richard Stilgoe for a meeting about Disability Awareness. Then was lunch.
In the afternoon we started with some films of Pip (drama volunteer) on her world tour in Cambodia and other places.
Then we rehearsed the radio scene sections for our next production; the scenes with astrologer Mad Mary, newsreader Neil Bechannon, and DJ Gary De Vine. I was with volunteer Chris Crane who played Neil Bechannon and I played Gary De Vine.
Next we sang the Mad Mary jingle, and then we performed the radio scene sections to each other. They were all very funny.
I think today went well and I hope the rest will think so too!
