Commemorative events at Film Night in Dorking

Dear  All
Here is my Freewheelers’ Film Night Special!
1  BRAT  by Daniel Galliford; a satirical film about transport for disabled people
2  SCAMS   about scams, both doorstep and postal
3  ROMANS  A drama on the theme of the Romans
4  BUBBLE   A film made by Freewheeler Richard Bridger, who sadly passed away recently.
5  THREE  CAVALRY SONGS   Starring Anthony O’Sullivan and Jago the Horse, in three World War songs. Sung by Luke Tye and others, the songs were called Just for the Ride, Running For Glory, and Back Where We Belong. Anthony plays a soldier during World War I; Bill Pearson and others play his family members. This was very moving.
Then the interval
Part 2
6  ROMANS  Episodes 5 and 6 (the first four were in the first half).
7  WITCHES  A Drama by the Cobham Media Group; from a story by Nina Spackman, all about witches and fairy tales
8  TOMORROW A film by the Monday Company in their production of Destiny Betrayed; starring Zena Rose and Richard Watson as two office workers who fall in love.
It was a very good evening’s entertainment, with Bill Pearson (Nomad Founder and also Play In A Week founder – now in the 20th year. I have done all of them so far). Also my mum was there, and other friends and relatives of various Freewheelers.
