Nearly Freewheelers’ Film Night!

Nearly Freewheelers’ Film Night!

Dear All
Here is my drama blog for this week. We did quite a lot so I may not mention everything.
The only visitor was Tom Gray (musician) and those not there were Ems and Luke.
We started in the morning with Brandon telling us all that he and his family all enjoyed their holiday in Cyprus last week. Then he welcomed everyone, including Tom. Brandon also talked about The Freewheelers’ Film Night on this Wednesday, November 7th at Dorking Halls, Dorking. He wondered which Freewheelers might like to come and watch it. Many, including myself, said ‘yes’.
Terri and Richard Watson both said they (and other Freewheelers) took part in Freewheeler events this week. They both thought they were good and enjoyed them (whatever they were).
Also Brandon said he (and I think others) will be going to a hotel in Brooklands, Surrey as a possible location for some scenes from Return to our Senses, when Robbie the patient falls into a coma in the hotel he is staying in. He leaves the sign on his room to ‘Please Make Up My Room’  instead of ‘Do Not Disturb’, so the people who come to change the bedding and items in the bathroom walk in on Robbie in the shower. He then falls over in shock and ends up in a coma.
Brandon then said that Danny Boyle is making events on British beaches; they’ll be drawing in the sand on November 11th to remember British people who died in various wars. I said it was special this year as this was 100 years since the end of World War I.
Then a warm up with Andrea. Next the movements for the play with Andrea – several times to get them right. Then was lunch.
In the afternoon more movements with Andrea, and then Brandon said that Bill Pearson (Nomad Theatre founder) was coming to The Freewheelers’ Film Night on Wednesday. We all gave memories of him – I said he never told you off, if you forgot your lines in Play In A Week, and never judged you whatever your ability in drama. Others said different things.
