Celebrating Christmas and looking back over 2018

Dear All
Today in drama the only visitor was Tom Gray (musician). Those not there: Richard Watson.
We started by welcoming Tom. Then Brandon said we will have a full rehearsal of Do Not Disturb, as we not be meeting till January 7th 2019, and the performance is on January 31st at The Bridge Centre, Leatherhead.
We then had a full rehearsal of the production from start to finish including the family scenes. I have mentioned these before – it’s by the bedside of patient Robbie, when he is in a coma.  Zena being the girlfriend; Jamie, the brother; Terri, the mum, and myself the dad. As usual they were emotional scenes.
Then lunch break: a special Christmas buffet meal, including sandwiches with a selection of fillings, sausage rolls, crisps and lots more.  This was organised by Pip (volunteer) and others. We thanked them for making it, which was appreciated by them all.
In the afternoon we sang various Christmas Songs with Tom, which was very good and fun to do.
Brandon then reminded us what we did this year and what we will do in 2019. He then wished us Seasons Greetings and we did the same for him, and wished him Happy Birthday, as it’s his birthday this week sometime – I do not know when or how old he will be.
In conclusion I think we did well this week and I think everyone else who was there will think so too.
