Getting ready for the big performance!

Getting ready for the big performance!

Dear All
Here is this week’s drama blog.  Hope you all like it!
Today in drama the visitors were Tom Gray (musician) and Marion Quemby (BSL Signer) and an ex-Dorincourt staff member where some Freewheeler members used to live. I think everyone was there?

We started with Brandon telling us all we need to be at The Nomad Theatre, East Horsley, Surrey for Wednesday morning for rehearsals for Do Not Disturb. There all day, and Thursday I think the same time(?) for more rehearsals and performance in the evening.
We then watched a film on rehearsing for the production, done by Chris Crane, and then Brandon said there will be a Q & A (Question and Answer session)  after the play on Thursday night. Only some cast members will be involved – to be decided nearer the time.
Next, a full rehearsal of Do Not Disturb from start to finish, as usual involving the emotional family scenes involving Zena as Robbie’s girlfriend; Terri as the mum; Jamie the brother, and myself the dad.
Then was lunch. During the break we sang Richard Watson Happy Birthday; he was 29 today. This was all in the morning.

In the afternoon, another full rehearsal of Do Not Disturb, from start to finish.  Brandon said we did well and then told us that we need to bring lunch to The Nomad for Wednesday, and both lunch and supper for Thursday. We all understood this.

I think we all did well today and I hope the rest will think so too!

My next drama blog will be on Friday: a Do Not Disturb Rehearsal and Performance Special
