18 Jun Preparing to remember an old friend

Here is my usual drama blog. We did quite a lot this week so I may not remember everything but will try and mention most of the items we did. Hope you all understand this?
The visitors were Tom Gray (musician), who came in to work on the songs for Do Not Disturb in a back room. Luke Tye and his mum Liz were there, as Luke is singing at Bill Pearson’s funeral in East Horsley, tomorrow, Tuesday June 18th. Luke will sing a song called Just for the Ride at this event.
Brandon then reminded us all that due to the funeral there will be no drama on that day; everyone understood this. We then talked about what Luke Tye will need to do when he sings Just for the Ride at church in East Horsley. He will need to know where he is sitting, and how long for, and when during the funeral he is singing.
Luke then sang the song, which we all liked and we wished him good luck for tomorrow. Luke then left with his mum Liz.
We then rehearsed Do Not Disturb from the start to Sheep Entrance Song, on page 6. Next was lunch. I forgot to say, Anna Vere is going to see the film of Aladdin for her 40th Birthday tomorrow; we all said we hope she will enjoy it.
In the afternoon we started by singing Anna Happy 40th Birthday, which she liked. Then we rehearsed The Argument Song from Do Not Disturb. Brandon then reminded us of The Evening with The Freewheelers at Harlequin Theatre, Redhill on Wednesday June 26th, and hoped we could attend this event if we wanted to. We could ask our relatives and friends if they wanted to come – we said we would so do. Peter Higson said we would need to phone the Box Office at The Harlequin Theatre if we wanted to go. We all understood this; Brandon said he will see us next Monday.
I asked him to pass on the sincere wishes of any Freewheeler members who are not going to Bill Pearson’s funeral to his family. He said he will do his best.
In conclusion I think we did well today, and I hope everyone else who was there will think so too.
