Christmas Spirit lands at The Bridge

Christmas Spirit lands at The Bridge

Dear All
Here is my drama blog for today.  Hope everyone likes it!
We had no official visitors but some people came to the Christmas Party in the afternoon. Those not there were Nick Walenski and Ems.

We started by Brandon telling us this is the last drama session  till January 6th 2020.  Next Brandon said he went to Brighton to  see puppeteer Nick Barnes about making a lighter version of  puppet Robbie (played in real life by Richard Watson). Then  Richard Watson said he had seen the film Home Alone with Macaulay Culkin and liked it. This was in Brighton.

Next Brandon said he that a potential new Freewheelers Stage Manager called Ethan who may be coming to The Freewheelers on Friday.

Then a full rehearsal of Do Not Disturb from start to the end. We then got together for Andrea to say what she thought of it.  She said it went quite well, although some scenes needed to be made clearer for when we start touring in February 2020 at Leatherhead Theatre, then various other venues later in the year. Details to follow nearer the time.

Then was lunch during which Brandon talked about what the Freewheelers had done in 2019, and what we may do in 2020.  We also sang a variety of Christmas songs together.

In the afternoon were drama games and we finished off with a cool down to various Christmas songs. Brandon then wished us  a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and looked forwards to see us again on January 6th next year and we did the the same for him.

I think the session went well today, and I hope everyone else who was there will think so too.

As this is the last session of the year may I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Next entry on January 6th 2020.
