Why support Freewheelers?
Freewheelers provides young people and adults with or without disabilities with opportunities to produce, perform and develop new skills in theatre, film and dance.
The company provides:
- an integrated environment in which to work
- life-long learning
- routes to further professional opportunities.
Freewheelers is inclusive and offers a friendly and dynamic environment for people who often experience social exclusion.
We challenge perceptions, work collaboratively and make work that surprises people. There is no other company like Freewheelers.
How can I help?
We need to raise more funds to enable more people to actively participate and enjoy what we offer - it is creative and life-changing experience for many. Freewheelers operates on a shoe-string so your donation will make a real difference to individual lives. Here’s how you can help:
- Make a regular monthly donation via a Standing Order - giving a small amount each month allows us to plan ahead and develop our work.
- Make a ‘one off’ donation, or ask friends to make a donation instead of buying you a Birthday, Wedding or Christmas present.
- Visit our Virgin Money Giving page and donate online - you can set up a monthly donation and your own fundraising page too.
- Get your company or school to nominate us as their chosen charity.
- Organise your own fundraising event - a bring and buy sale, pub quiz, dress down day, raffle - or run with your own idea! Make your own page on JustGiving
- Volunteer your time on a regular basis.
What will my support achieve?
- £30 will cover the cost of a young person attending a full-day of activity.
- £50 will cover the cost of our venue for a day.
- £75 will provide the right care assistance for a day.
- £145 will pay for a two-hour creative workshop for one member for a term.
- £300 will cover the daily travel costs of one member for 12 months.
- £550 will enable a young person to attend our weekly workshops for one year.
Your contribution will be invaluable.
