There are many ways to help Freewheelers and have fun while doing it. Every penny raised really does make a difference so whether it’s a cake sale or a simple coffee morning, why not do it in the name of Freewheelers.

Our dance groups are currently working towards a ‘Paintings’ themed performance which will take place on 5 July 2017. The dances will be inspired by famous works of Degas, and the costumes need to match precisely the clothing worn by the painted figures in order to create powerful moments where the images seen on screen and on stage match. We would like some help sourcing / making and fitting these outfits in time for the show. We would also like a photographer to attend rehearsals to identify these key moments in preparation for capturing them during the show. These roles could be fulfilled by the same person if s/he has skills in both costume and photography, or by different people. More than one photographer may be needed.
The groups rehearses on Tuesday mornings in Leatherhead. Depending on availability the volunteers could also work with our Thursday dance groups who are also preparing for to perform at the same event.
We welcome volunteers who can help with preparations by shopping, driving, taking bookings etc, as well as those who just wish to lend a hand on the day of the performance
