Marketing Co-ordinator

Location:

The Bridge Centre, off Kingston Road, Leatherhead, KT22 7RB Fully Accessible  Monday 10-3, Tuesday 10-4.30, Thursday 10-12  Parking on site.  Bus and Mainline train services available.

Time:

This role has the potential to develop, but at present a day a week, split between home-based administration and research and attending meetings, etc.

Duties:

To implement the current local marketing strategy.
Recruitment and coordination of volunteer marketeers Coordination of distribution of publicity material.
Liaising with local press.
Managing e-marketing and social network presence
Attending planning meetings
Monitoring the impact of marketing campaigns.
Variable time required but minimum of 2 days a month.

Skills and Experience:
Experience of writing press releases
Experience of working on arts marketing campaigns
Ability to work as part of a team and independently
Experience of managing volunteers
Ability to tailor marketing strategies to local demographics.
Good communication skills
Knowledge of e-marketing opportunities

Training Required:
Induction to company policies, procedures and ethos and to staff structure.
Familiarisation with the current systems would be given by current staff.

Review Date:

There will be a review after 3 months to find out whether the volunteer and activity are properly matched.  At this time, either side can stop the placement. Subsequently there will be 6-monthly reviews.
