Location:
The Bridge Centre, off Kingston Road, Leatherhead, KT22 7RB Fully Accessible Monday 10-3, Tuesday 10-4.30, Thursday 10-12 Parking on site. Bus and Mainline train services available.
Time:
This role has the potential to develop, but at present a day a week, split between home-based administration and research and attending meetings, etc.
Duties:
Research Special and Mainstream Schools provision in Surrey and environs.
Attending planning meetings.
Promote the Freewheeler Schools Programme to schools and school networks.
Input into design of publicity material, establish a fees structure
Develop and maintain a scheduling and booking system.
Attend Workshops if desired.
Administer relevant agreements between the Company and the School, re timing, support, location, resources and pre and post questionnaires.
Ensuring relevant policies and procedures are adhered to, for example safe-guarding and risk assessment.
Ensuring relevant feedback is gathered.
Skills and Experience:
Knowledge of the school sector would be desirable.
Understanding of the arts and its application in education
Knowledge of IT systems
Excellent communication skills across a range of contexts
Administration skills
Ability to work as part of a team and independently
Training Required:
Induction to company policies, procedures and ethos and to staff structure.
Familiarisation with current schools contacts.

Review Date:
There will be a review after 3 months to find out whether the volunteer and activity are properly matched. At this time, either side can stop the placement. Subsequently there will be 6-monthly reviews.
